Sin & Chocolate (Demigod of San Francisco #1)

by K.F. Breene

Those people usually have a lot of drama in their life. Drama I happily do without. I live in a forgotten corner of nowhere for a reason: there is safety in anonymity. I have enough problems just trying to get by.

But when Kieran, a sinfully sexy demigod at the pinnacle of power, crashes into my life, suddenly my whole world is turned upside down.

He’s harboring a deadly secret, one that could destroy all he holds dear. He thinks I’m the key to his salvation, and he wants me to help him claim vengeance.

He also wants me with a passion that burns my body from the inside out.

To ignore him is impossible, but to give in to my desires, even for a night, would thrust me into danger I might not survive.

Can I resist the temptation?

Nerdy Thoughts

Every word, every moment and development was perfection. Wit, sexual chemistry, and a plot that’s original, Sin & Chocolate makes for an action-packed gripping read.

When first introduced to Alexis, it's clear she's something special. Not only because she's a hilarious character, but in terms of her unique abilities. Likeable, loveable, and struggling in a unique world filled with class struggles, she is a character who is easy follow and journey with.

With two wards who take as much care of her as she does of them, Alexis avoids drama like the plague, but inevitable it comes calling. A lot. And it's with the introduction of Kieran, who is a simply divine character, readers will have fun watching these strong strong and fiercely independent characters come head-to-head.

It's once they join forces that Alexis's and Kieran's world change irrevocably. And what a world we're introduced to.
